How do I use TapSet Adhesive Anchors?
TapSet products are easy to use. Follow these simple directions:
    1. Drill - Using the specially engineered TapSet drill bit, carefully drill perpendicular to the surface to make the hole.
    2. Clean - Using the TapSet 1/2" cleaning brush (mounted in your drill), clean the hole removing all dust and debris.
    3. Wet - Wet the stud or the hole using a light mist of water.
    4. Set
Solid Concrete Walls - Place the TapSet stud in the hole. Use the wood punch and tap gently on the face of the TapSet (not the pin), until it's flush with the wall. Then place the punch on the end of the pin. Using a 16- or 20-ounce hammer, firmly tap the pin into the TapSet until the top of the pin is flush with the surface of the main body of your TapSet.
Hollow Block Walls - Place the TapSet offset tool or a 1/2" thick u-shaped spacer behind the TapSet (saddling the stud). Push the TapSet in until it's flush with the offset tool. Then using the wood punch and a 16- or 20-ounce hammer, firmly tap the pin in. After the pin is flush with the face of the TapSet, remove the offset tool, rotate the TapSet in both directions and return it to the desired position. Then using the punch, tap it into the hole until flush with the wall.
    5. Adjust - Your TapSet can be rotated using gentle tapping with the wood punch within the first two minutes after the pin is tapped in (to ensure the TapSet is aligned properly).
How can I make sure my TapSets are level?
To ensure level mounting of multiple TapSets, use a level, caulk line or laser to mark the hole locations prior to drilling. For best results, locate the holes in solid concrete, the web of concrete block or other areas where the surface is greater than 1 3/4" thick. For areas with less thickness see "Hollow Block Walls" under "How do I use TapSet Adhesive Anchors?"

Excess glue, if any, can be removed after it cures by scraping with a razor. For general cleaning, use water with mild detergent and wipe clean with a rag.

Can I paint TapSet Adhesive Anchors?
Painting should be done after installing TapSet.

To custom color your TapSet, use 2 to 3 light coats of a quality enamel spray paint. For easy protection from overspray, prior to installation tape old newspaper over the area where the TapSets are being installed, and cut out a small hole directly over the hole drilled in the surface. Install and paint the TapSet. When the final coat has dried, tear off the newspaper, and you are finished.
